The work will begin with the installation of safety barriers under the Norfolk Southern railroad overpass located north of Auburn Street. \u00a0The roadway will remain open to traffic, however, motorists can expect traffic disruptions for the next 2 weeks while the barrier work is ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>The safety improvements for the project will include curb work, guiderail installations, barrier construction, new lighting, signal improvements, high friction course pavement installation, microsurfacing, new pavement markings, and a speed limit activated traffic calming message board.<\/p>\n<p>The Basin Street Safety Improvements project will be constructed by the Marino Corporation, Inc. out of Skippack, PA.
