house <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_993938937\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Tuesday<\/span><\/span> night at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandseventcenter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Sands Event Center <\/a>was the Refused and the Deftones.\u00a0 These two bands were made to be out touring on the road together.\u00a0 Each band brought the metal, and offered two different genres of music.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/officialrefused.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Refused<\/a> opened the show.\u00a0 Originally from Sweden, they are a hard rocking punk band that are best known for incorporating their radical left and anti capitalistic politics ever so subtly in their music.\u00a0 Lead singer, Dennis Lyxzen possessed incredibly high energy as he played across the stage that kept the crowd bouncing for more.<\/p>\n<p>The main attraction of the night was the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deftones.com\" target=\"_blank\">Deftones<\/a>, supporting their first release <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_993938938\"><span class=\"aQJ\">in four years<\/span><\/span>, &#8220;Gore&#8221;, which came out earl April.\u00a0 While Deftones may take a more\u00a0ambiguity angle\u00a0 with their lyrics, there&#8217;s no ambiguity in their alternative metal style music.\u00a0 Guitars shredded and blended in with Chino Moreno&#8217;s vocal capabilities nicely.<\/p>\n<p>Check their website for more shows in the area, the Deftones have certainly gained the reputation of one hot concert ticket this summer!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.deftones.com\"
