A collection to benefit Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County will take place through December 23<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n ALLENTOWN, PA \u2013\u00a0\u00a0 The Shops at 3900 Hamilton announced today they will be hosting a Holiday Shopping and Giving event on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4pm to 8 pm<\/span>.\u00a0 The Shops at 3900 Hamilton has partnered with Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County to collect select donations from December 1 through December 23, 2016<\/span>.\u00a0 The Shops at 3900 Hamilton are located at 3900 Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown, PA.<\/p>\n Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County is a non-profit organization that serves\u00a0seniors or adults with disabilities who are primarily homebound and unable to cook or shop for themselves.\u00a0 Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County delivers nutritious meals as well as provides well-being checks and social visits to 445 clients each weekday on 33 delivery routes throughout Lehigh County. 746 individual and group volunteers deliver over 165,000 meals each year. Clients are seniors or adults with disabilities who are primarily homebound and unable to manage meal preparation. Meals on Wheels served 874 clients in 2015. Meals on Wheels also provides grocery shopping, pet food for clients with pets, and emergency meals for use when we can\u2019t deliver due to bad weather.<\/p>\n The Shops at 3900 Hamilton Shopping and Giving will take place Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4 pm to 8pm<\/span>.\u00a0 The Shops at 3900 will be hosting an open house event with merchants including The Paperbag, Edward Jones, Bixlers Jewelers, Talbots, ReVive Salon, Santander,Swartz Kitchen & Bath and Barre3.<\/p>\n Refreshments will be available at select shops.\u00a0 A collection will be held on behalf of Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County from December 1, 2016 to December 23, 2016<\/span> for select food and supplies that can be dropped off at The Paperbag.\u00a0 All those that donate will be entered into a raffle to win one of three gift certificate prizes from $25 to $100 to The Shops at 3900 Hamilton.\u00a0 Representatives from Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County will be in attendance at the Shopping and Giving event on December 8, 2016<\/span> with additional literature regarding their programs, needs, and how to volunteer. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Shops at 3900 Shopping and Giving is free and open to the public.\u00a0 The Shops at 3900 Hamilton is located at 3900 Hamilton Boulevard, Allentown, PA.<\/p>\n For more information about The Shops at 3900 Shopping and Giving event please contact Jennifer Eck at jennifer.m.eck@gmail.com or call 610.462.3730<\/u><\/a>.
