Bethlehem, Pa. — December 2, 2016<\/span><\/span> —\u00a0<\/strong>PBS39 has a long-standing tradition of telling the stories and traditions of the Greater Lehigh Valley. This December, the public media station is proud to present A Celebration of Our Community<\/strong><\/em>, a Tuesday<\/span><\/span> night block of locally-produced, original programming.<\/p>\n

Alongside PBS39’s long-running academic quiz show, Scholastic Scrimmage<\/strong><\/em>, and the Emmy-nominated weekly news magazine program, FOCUS<\/strong><\/em>, PBS39 will broadcast encore presentations of recent PBS39 documentaries Second to None: Liberty High School Grenadier Band<\/strong><\/em>, Wyomissing: An American Dream<\/strong><\/em>, and The Salvation Army Legacy<\/strong><\/em>. These will be accompanied by ‘From the Vault’ presentations of Bethlehem Steel: The People Who Built America<\/strong><\/em>, Hollywood on Hamilton: Remembering Hess’s<\/strong><\/em>, and Bringing New Life to Old Steel<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

“PBS39 has always been a proud supporter of the communities we serve,” said Teri Haddad, EdD, SVP of Education and Production at PBS39<\/strong>. “A Celebration of Our Community<\/strong><\/em> serves as a holiday homecoming; one which revisits the many captivating local stories PBS39 has told over the years.”<\/p>\n

A Celebration of Our Community<\/strong><\/em> will air from 7 p.m.-12 a.m.<\/span><\/span> on Tuesday, December 6 and Tuesday, December 13<\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Each night’s programming lineup is currently scheduled as follows:<\/p>\n
