AS WINNER OF FIFTH ANNUAL CARING FOR COMMUNITY GIVEAWAY<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n SOUDERTON, Pa., January 6, 2017 \u2013 As <\/span>Univest Corporation<\/span><\/u><\/a> continued the celebration of its 140<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> anniversary, it also continued its tradition of giving back to the local community with the fifth annual Caring for Community Giveaway, a promotion awarding $5,140 to a local, nonprofit organization. This year\u2019s winner is Hope Against Heroin, a nonprofit organization with a mission to reduce the number of young lives lost to heroin overdoses by providing timely access to life-saving treatment, increasing awareness and providing education. The organization provides support for individuals and families that are affected so they may overcome the barriers experienced on the journey to long-term recovery. Hope Against Heroin was founded by Kim and Kevin Hogan after personally being affected by heroin addiction. Their son, Jimmy Duffy, has become the face of the organization showing others there is hope for recovery from opiate addiction.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n \u201cWe are thrilled to have been selected as the winner of Univest\u2019s Caring for Community Giveaway.
