Bob Stevens, Pastor<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The Honorary First Defenders will be participating in their annual church service at Zion\u2019s Reformed U.C.C. Church, 620 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA.\u00a0 The original First Defenders were called to protect our capital in April, 1861 and stopped at Zion\u2019s church to pray before boarding the train the Harrisburg.\u00a0 The church service is held on the date closest to Abraham Lincoln\u2019s birthday who was President in 1861.\u00a0 The church service will include the 96th<\/sup> Pennsylvania Regiment Color Guard and Civil War reenactors.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Please join us for this event.\u00a0 Refreshments immediately following the service, sponsored by the Honorary First Defenders.
