BETHLEHEM, PA<\/strong> \u2013 Wednesday, February 15, 2017<\/span><\/em> \u2013 As Hotel Bethlehem is nearing its 95th<\/sup> year this May, they will be hosting numerous \u201cRoaring 20s\u201d events in April. The hotel was the host to weddings, business meetings, birthday parties and debutant balls since opening in 1922. They even discovered a hidden speakeasy in the 20s during prohibition that was never in the original blueprints of the hotel. This April, Hotel Bethlehem wants to recreate history by offering guests an experience they won\u2019t forget!<\/p>\n

The Tap Room at Hotel Bethlehem hosts Thursday<\/span> night Jazz every week, but will be showcasing Roaring 20s bands throughout the month of April to feature their history. Specialty themed cocktails will be available in the Tap Room all month long for guests to enjoy. Guests are encourage to feel as if they are sitting in the hotel during the 1920s like some of their famous former guests once did years ago.<\/p>\n

Historic Hotel Bethlehem will be offering an overnight package through the month of April to guests looking to spend the night in the Grand Hotel with their \u201cSpeakeasy Package\u201d. Step back into the 1920s where Jazz music filled the air and secret codes and cocktails were rarely discussed. Hotel Bethlehem is looking to take guests back in time to experience the Roaring 20s amidst the chaos of the 21st<\/sup> century. Guests will receive a secret<\/em> password upon arrival that will open the doors for their stay back in time. The package will start at $299 based on availability, while restrictions and blackout dates may apply.<\/p>\n

On Friday April 14th<\/span>, Hotel Bethlehem will be offering 20s style swing dance lessons in their Ballroom to guests to come in and dance the night away with the Gas House Dance Hall! They want guests to enjoy learning how to Jitterbug, Lindy Hop and maybe some Charleston too!\u00a0 The class will be from 6:30pm to 9pm<\/span>, guests can enjoy a cocktail or two to relax and then have some light hors d’oeuvres afterward. To finish out the month, Hotel Bethlehem will be hosting their 2nd<\/sup> Annual Roaring 20s Ball on Friday April 28th<\/sup>. Guests are invited to come out and enjoy a night of dancing, laughter and dining on some of the finest cuisine in the Lehigh Valley prepared by Chef Michael Adams. Enjoy listening to well-known Philadelphia jazz band, Hot Club of Philadelphia who will be playing throughout the night to keep the night lively! The d\u00e9cor, provided by Elegance Remembered and Ruby Floral Factory, will completely transform the Grand Ballroom allowing guests to feel as if they are reliving a night in the 20s at Hotel Bethlehem. It\u2019s truly a night you won\u2019t want to miss.<\/p>\n

Join Historic Hotel Bethlehem on Friday April 28th<\/sup>, 2017 for this remarkable event. It will be a 4 course dinner including a cocktail hour with hors d\u2019oeuvres and an open bar from 6pm to 11pm<\/span>. Guests will enjoy the evening by dancing, socializing and celebrating in the 20s era that dates back to when the hotel opened in 1922. This is a great event to show off the dance lessons guests participated in earlier in the month with the Gas House! During the event, the MagnoliaSadies will be performing to show guests the true style of 1920s dancing.<\/p>\n
