Librarians and Curriculum\/Professional Development specialists are also encouraged to apply. The two conditions have some of the same risk factors, including smoking, poor nutrition and diabetes. Researchers believe that inflammation caused by periodontal disease may be responsible for the connection.3<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">Prevention is the best medicine<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">Regular healthy habits can lower your risk of both gum disease and heart disease. And, if you already have one or both of these conditions, these strategies can help reduce their impact:<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">\u2022 Brush and floss regularly. To remove plaque-forming bacteria, brush for at least two minutes, twice a day, and don\u2019t skip the floss.<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">\u2022 Choose a healthy diet, rich in essential nutrients (especially vitamins A and C). Reduce or eliminate sugar and starches.<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">\u2022 Avoid cigarettes and smokeless tobacco. Intrigued by the challenge of swindling the famously stubborn natives of Iowa, Hill convinces the townspeople of River City to buy instruments and uniforms for their youngsters in order to save them from getting into trouble. As the story unfolds, chaos ensues as Hill&#8217;s credentials are questioned by Marian Paroo, Mayor Shinn, and others. As Hill begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces a difficult decision about leaving town.<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">Remember the classic songs from this musical&#8230;Ya Got Trouble? Whether you are an experienced umpire, or looking to break into the game as a rookie, we have the appropriate level for you. We offer a competitive level of play for all levels of experience and the opportunity to umpire throughout the greater Lehigh Valley area. Our organization officiates over 1500+ games for Little League, Travel Teams, Connie Mack, Youth Legion, and LVMSBL (Men\u2019s League) from April until November. Take your passion for sports and turn it into a part time avocation that will enable you to give back to the community. We accept members starting at 16 and offer education, training and mentorships to improve your skills and obtain higher level games as you gain more experience. If you are an experienced umpire and you would like to try to get involved in a group we would love to hear from you. The BUA has over 1500 games that we need to cover each season and we are always looking for new and experienced officials to add to our officiating team.
