Shillinger as its new Director of Development.<\/p>\n<p>In her new position, Shillinger will develop and implement alumni relations and fundraising programs for the school, including leadership giving, grant writing, and corporate support.\u00a0 Additionally, she will lead planning efforts for the school\u2019s two annual signature scholarship fundraising events, The Hillside School Dinner Dance and the Golf Classic.<\/p>\n<p>Shillinger joins The Hillside School from Lehigh University, where she most recently served as Senior Director of University and Advancement Events.\u00a0 Shillinger has more than 20 years of fundraising and donor relations experience, working at both Lehigh University and WLVT PBS39. She joins the Hillside faculty and staff with a strong belief in and passion for the Hillside mission to maximize the potential of children with learning disabilities through excellence in education.<\/p>\n<p>Located in Macungie, PA, The Hillside School is an independent K-8 school for students with language-based learning disabilities that serves children from 9 counties and 22 school districts.
