The meeting is scheduled for <strong>Wednesday, March 22 from 6:00 p.m. \u2013 7:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army, Allentown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This session entitled \u201cYour Neighborhood Schools Night\u201d will be held specifically for the families of students (or incoming students) of Central, Cleveland, McKinley and Ramos Elementary Schools. Families are invited to enjoy a light dinner and discuss new things happening in the District, including plans for a new elementary school in their area. The session will be led by a community panel which includes Jose Molina, Hispanic American Organization and Alta Garcia Mercado, Urban Affairs Liaison for Senator Browne.<u> <\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>Free childcare will be provided for children ages 3 \u2013 10 and Spanish interpreters will be on hand<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe goal of these meetings is to ensure a direct open line of communication with our families as well as to keep them apprised on all the positive changes happening in our District,\u201d explains Dr. Gary R. Cooper, Interim Superintendent for the Allentown School District. \u201cWe want our parents and guardians to have a voice and welcome the opportunity to respond to their questions and concerns.
