Basilio Bonilla for Lehigh County Commissioner 3<\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup> District<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Bethlehem, PA, <\/span>March 27, 2017<\/span>\u2013 Basilio Bonilla received the endorsement of the Pennsylvania <\/span>Democratic Party\u2019s Latino Caucus at an event held in Lancaster Friday evening.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The Latino Caucus is dedicated to increasing the political participation of Pennsylvania\u2019s Latino and Hispanic communities.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBasilio would be the first Latino commissioner not only in Lehigh County, but in all of Pennsylvania.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n The endorsement was earned by Basilio for his unwavering dedication to the Latino Community and all the residents of the Lehigh Valley.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Basilio Bonilla served on the Bethlehem School Board where he was an outspoken advocate for policies to uplift Latino students and all students in the district facing adversity. <\/span><\/p>\n Lehigh County has a 12% Latino population- the third most Latinos of any county in Pennsylvania.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n It is time for the Latino population to have a representative in county government who understands the challenges they face.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Basilio Bonilla, when elected as Lehigh County Commissioner, will ensure that the Latino Community and all those struggling have their voices heard.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>The 3<\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup> Commissioner District is composed of East and South Side Allentown, West Bethlehem, Catasauqua, Fountain Hill and Hanover. <\/span><\/p>\n http:\/\/www.bonillaforlehighcounty.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Information Provided By: <\/p>\n <\/p>\n ***In effort to share the Lehigh Valley’s events and happenings with out bias we will accept political press releases and positive opinion pieces.
