About Religion…<\/h4>\n

Truth #1: Religion does not equal spirituality. Religion is a “particular system of faith and worship.” Just because one partakes in this particular system does not mean they are spiritual. Spirituality is the “the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul.” We all know plenty of people that are religious but lack spirituality. By the same token, it is quite possible to be spiritual without participating in religion. Honor those who are concerned with the human spirit or soul, even though they may not participate in a religion. They are moving humanity forward!<\/p>\n

Truth #2: Don’t necessarily abandon religion. If your religious practice grows your spirituality, then by all means, participate! Take what you love about religion and leave behind what you don’t love. In either case, don’t carry guilt about what society has deemed “right or wrong” regarding religious practices. It only matters what is in your heart. Remember, that is your soul’s GPS system and guilt dulls the communication line.\u00a0\u00a0…continue<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n
