Lehigh Valley Business is looking for women leaders who are influential in their<\/p>\n
companies, industries and communities to be nominated for the 2015 Women of Influence<\/p>\n
awards. Successful candidates will have a solid reputation based on experience, integrity<\/p>\n
and leadership and have a proven track record of accomplishments. Nominations are being<\/p>\n
accepted through February 12. Individuals may be self-nominated, or nominated by another<\/p>\n
person.<\/p>\n
The 25 Women of Influence award recipients will be recognized at an awards<\/p>\n
ceremony scheduled for May 19 at DeSales University. In addition there are three special<\/p>\n
recognition category award recipients. The Lifetime Achievement award will be presented<\/p>\n
to a woman who has committed her life to making the Greater Lehigh Valley a great place<\/p>\n
to work and live. The Woman to Watch award will be presented to a woman, 30 or younger<\/p>\n
who is stepping up to help shape the Greater Lehigh Valley of tomorrow. The Community<\/p>\n
Achievement Award will be presented to a woman who has dedicated a significant amount<\/p>\n
of time, energy and expertise to helping Greater Lehigh Valley community organization<\/p>\n
thrive.<\/p>\n
To be eligible for nomination, the nominee must be a female currently employed in<\/p>\n
for-profit business or nonprofit organization in the Greater Lehigh Valley counties of<\/p>\n
Berks, carbon Lehigh, lower Monroe, upper Montgomery, Northampton, upper Bucks,<\/p>\n
Schuylkill and Warren. The nominee must hold a senior management-level position with<\/p>\n
significant authority in decision making for her organization. To be considered for the<\/p>\n
judges\u2019 review, a completed nomination form must be submitted by 5pm on Thursday<\/p>\n
February 12, 2015.<\/p>\n
