TREXLERTOWN, Pa. \u2013 Early Thursday morning Valley Preferred Cycling Center Executive Director Marty Nothstein announced a partnership which brings in long-time Lehigh Valley caterer Maison Blanc to T-Town to operate the A-Treat Breakaway Caf\u00e9 and all catering parties at the facility.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are happy to have Maison Blanc take over in the A-Treat Breakaway Caf\u00e9,\u201d Nothstein said. \u201cI know for certain that our fans will enjoy all of the offerings here at the track.\u201d<\/p>\n Maison Blanc is a catering company known for its ability to do a wide-range of events and provide an excellent quality of food and customer service. Over 35 years of business, Marjorie Monahan, who is the owner, has catered a variety of events for some of the Lehigh Valley\u2019s largest employers, weddings, and other events. Additionally, the company has had a presence at the Allentown Fairgrounds, MusikFest and MayFair over the years.<\/p>\n \u201cI am excited for this new opportunity at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center,\u201d Monahan related. \u201cIt is going to be a new, but exciting, challenge for our staff. Our mission is to create fine food when unexpected and we can do that in T-Town.\u201d<\/p>\n With the ushering in of Maison Blanc, there will be plenty of new menu items including chicken sausage, hamburger sliders, wraps, salads, as well as ice cream and waffles, in addition to others. There will also be vegetarian, organic, and gluten-free items. The menu will continue to feature Jaindl Turkey BBQ, A-Treat soda, Deer Park water, and SweetLeaf Tea.<\/p>\n Next door to the A-Treat Breakaway Caf\u00e9 will continue to sell beer and wine selections. The beer continues to be with Allentown Beverage and Victory Brewing. The wine selections for 2017 are changing to offer a greater variety of offerings for fans which can change from week to week.<\/p>\n In addition to the new menu items, the A-Treat Breakaway Caf\u00e9 will be open at new times as well. The Caf\u00e9 will continue to be open for Fuji Bikes Pro-Am Super Tuesdays as well as all World Series of Bicycling events, however, it will now be open for the Trexlertown Farmers Market and the Masters & Rookies racing on Saturdays. Plus, the Caf\u00e9 will be open for various Red Robin Marty Nothstein Bicycle Racing League races, both VeloFests, and other events and times throughout the year.<\/p>\n Groups which opt to enjoy a race from the VeloDeck, Infield Party Area, or the SkyBox suite, will also enjoy the delicious Maison Blanc food as the company has a wide array of catering selections to choose from. So far VPCC has announced a simplification to its ticketing structure<\/u><\/a>, launched a mobile app<\/u><\/a>, unveiled a new concert series<\/u><\/a>, and announced the return of post-race Firework Extravaganzas<\/u><\/a> presented by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Trexler Funeral Home, and the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home.
