Tons of fun promotions, highlighted by a Saturday night Fireworks Extravaganza presented by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, Trexler Funeral Home, and the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, will bring thousands of fans to T-Town as well.<\/p>\n<p>The Opening Weekend of the 2017 World Series of Bicycling season includes back-to-back nights of UCI sanctioned racing as well as great family fun for the fans. The season commences with the UCI U.S. Sprint Gran Prix on Friday, June 9 with the UCI Red Robin All-Stars on Saturday, June 10.<\/p>\n<p>As the Olympic cycle turns its focus to the 2020 games in Tokyo, riders from Australia, Austria, Argentina, Barbados, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Suriname, South Africa, Trinidad, Wales, and the United States are in T-Town competing and racing during the entire month of June looking for valuable UCI points to help themselves qualify for world events and ultimately the Olympic games.<\/p>\n<p>Sprinting is the focus of the night on Friday with a sprint tournament for both the men and women. Additionally, there is an International Omnium, the first time ever in T-Town, that will be on the docket for Friday for both the men and the women. There is a morning session of action that begins at 9 a.m. and is free for fans. Additionally, the all-stars from the spring season of the 2017 Red Robin Marty Nothstein Bicycle Racing League are set to compete as well. The band Wicked Beaver is performing live in the plaza during Happy Hour to kick-off the 2017 World Series of Bicycling Concert Series. Also, Ziggy\u2019s Roasters food truck is serving delicious food items to complement the A-Treat Breakaway Caf\u00e9\u2019s new menu items.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the Schools Out Band performs in the plaza while Kona Ice is serving dessert items in the plaza. Stick around all night long to see the Post-race Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by the Schmoyer Funeral Home, the Trexler Funeral Home, and the J.S.
