Zanelli Lehigh County Campaign Boosted By Victory Fund, East Penn Democratic Club President<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

June 28, Bethlehem, Pa. – Amy Zanelli\u2019s decisive win in the Democratic primary race for Lehigh County Commissioner District 3 was just the beginning of a campaign that will amplify her voice and advocacy across the Lehigh Valley, the state and the country.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her grassroots campaigning has energized local organizations, and now has also gained the endorsement of the Washington, D.C-based Victory Fund. <\/span>Since 1991, Victory Fund has helped elect thousands of LGBTQ people to positions at all levels of government.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis being National Pride Month it couldn\u2019t be a more meaningful time for an endorsement from the Victory Fund,\u201d Zanelli said. \u201cI\u2019m a champion of LGBTQ equality, and the support of the LGBTQ community has helped grow my campaign and this grassroots movement for change,\u201d she added.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cVictory Fund is thrilled to endorse Amy Zanelli for Lehigh County Commissioner District 3,\u201d said Victory Fund President & CEO Aisha C. Moodie-Mills. \u201cZanelli\u2019s commitment to smart public policy that addresses the real concerns of constituents makes her the best candidate for District 3 Commissioner. When she wins in November, Zanelli will become a vital LGBTQ voice in Pennsylvania.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>Zanelli will be the first openly LGBTQ member of the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Zanelli has also received the endorsement of Naiomi Winch, the President of the East Penn Democratic Club, and Lehigh County Democratic Club 2017 Volunteer of the year.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>\u201cAmy has my personal endorsement for the 2017 general election.<\/span>\u00a0 <\/span>Amy\u2019s positions on issues align with my own. She will be a fighting voice for all of the people in Lehigh County,\u201d Winch said.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Zanelli\u2019s campaign has already received the support and endorsement from the Women\u2019 March on Washington-Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley for All.<\/span><\/p>\n
