\"\"<\/span><\/b>Dog Days of Summer continue, although we did have a little reprieve early last week with some cooler temps. However, the humidity has returned and cooking inside or out can be a tough at times. Ripe tomatoes are trickling in here and there from a few local farms. I found some this week from The Good Farm in Germansville. You can also find The Good Farm products at Crooked Row Farm Stand in Orefield. Red & Orange tomatoes jumped out to me as I was looking over the local produce. I’ve been craving BLT’s all Summer and nothing beats a freshly sliced and juicy tomatoes on a BLT!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"Bread of choice, toasted<\/span>
\nBacon, cooked near crisp
\nIceberg Lettuce
\nMayo
\n<\/span> Salt & Pepper<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Toast bread and spread mayo on both slices. Lay half leaf of lettuce on 1 bread slice, top with 2 slices of tomatoes, add salt & pepper, then top with 3 slices of bacon and toast. Slice on diagonal and enjoy!
