font-family: Cambria;\">It\u2019s hard to believe that Mellencamp\u2019s vast catalog of songs now spans over forty years.\u00a0\u00a0 Timeless, and lyrically, still relevant today.\u00a0\u00a0 Mellencamp took the stage in a black blazer and trousers and opened \u201cLawless Time\u201d (Plain Spoken), followed by\u00a0 \u201cJoe Cockers\u201d, then reached way back to \u201cMinutes to Memories\u201d (Scarecrow).<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The hits rolled in,\u00a0 \u201cSmall Town\u201d, \u201cPop Singer\u201d, \u201cCheck it Out\u201d, all climatically led to one of Mellencamp\u2019s biggest hits, \u201cJack and Diane\u201d and the audience sang along in great spirit.\u00a0 He rounded out the set with a few songs from his latest release,\u00a0 \u201cSad Clowns and Hillbillies\u201d with Carleen Carter back on stage lending her incredible vocals.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The barrel of hits opened again to\u00a0 \u201cRain on the Scarecrow\u201d, \u201cPaper in Fire\u201d, and a drum solo in an extended version of \u201cCrumblin\u2019 Down\u201d that riveted through the Grandstands.\u00a0 The banter was light, as there were a couple more songs to stuff into the set, \u201cAuthority Song\u201d and \u201cPink Houses\u201d.\u00a0 Mellencamp and band returned for encore performance of \u201cCherry Bomb\u201d.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;
