With a sound both fresh and familiar at the same time, dichotomy could be the definition of NYC foursome, The Dives. <\/strong>Undeniable British rock influences flavor modern lyrics and infectious hoods while the band\u2019s high-energy live performances exude the fervor and intensity of all great rock & roll bands.<\/p>\n In early Summer 2017, the band celebrated their debut release, Everybody\u2019s Talkin\u2019<\/em>, <\/strong>featuring five original tracks, at a release party doubling as a European tour send-off. In the heart of Greenwich Villages, the epicenter of the band\u2019s live circuit, the crowd overflowed from the performance venue with a capacity of about 150. Just days later, the guys would be performing the title track along with \u201cMan, Oh Mandy,\u201d \u201cMake It Like The Movies,\u201d \u201cAnticipation\u201d and \u201cTake It All\u201d along with their other original songs for crowds that reached multiple tens of thousands in their opening slot for KISS at hallowed venues like London\u2019s O2 Arena, the Hydro in Glasgow, Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham and Manchester Arena.<\/p>\n The very next week found the band back in New York City\u2019s downtown rock clubs Bowery Electric and Mercury Lounge, because that\u2019s what a rock & roll band does. This summer, The Dives toured the US through 12 of America\u2019s great rock cities their Anticipation Tour.<\/p>\n The seminal rock weekly, The Aquarian, featured The Dives on their cover, a first for the band. The UK\u2019s Classic Rock Magazine raved and said, \u201cSongs are everything.
