The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation and The Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living are hosting the 4th<\/sup> Annual Fishing in the Park Event in Lehigh Parkway at the Iron Bridge on Saturday, September 23<\/span> from 9am to 2pm<\/span>.<\/p>\n The 4tn<\/sup> Annual event is being rebranded as Fishing and Fun in the Park and focuses on providing a day of inclusive, accessible outdoor fun for all ages and abilities.\u00a0 It includes fishing, casting instruction by the Mid Atlantic Young Anglers Association, a fillet station by the Lehigh County Fish and Game Protective Association, animal demonstrations by the Lehigh Valley Zoo, yard games and sports by Friends of the Allentown Parks, a nature walk lead by the Wildlands Conservancy, K-9 demonstration by the Allentown Police Department, shooting sports by Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and Archery 4 Everyone and kayaking lessons provided by Lehigh Valley River Runners.
