{"id":46672,"date":"2017-09-25T16:29:58","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T20:29:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=46672"},"modified":"2017-09-27T15:23:56","modified_gmt":"2017-09-27T19:23:56","slug":"46672","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=46672","title":{"rendered":"The 30th Annual Celtic Classic &#8211; By: Kathy Molitoris"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/KMolitoris.Photo\/\"><span style=\"color: #0563c1;\">Photos&nbsp;&amp; Story By: Kathy Molitoris<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nThe largest free Celtic festival on the East Coast, <strong>Celtic Classic<\/strong>, celebrated its 30<sup>th<\/sup> year over the past three days in Bethlehem.&nbsp; Great entertainment included Burning Bridget Cleary, Calan, Glenngary Bhoys, Timlin &amp; Kane, Syr, Piper&#8217;s Request, Searson, Blackwater, Steel City Rovers, Seamus Kennedy, and a whole a lot more!&nbsp; The O\u2019Grady Quinlan School of Dance gave crowd- pleasing performances.<\/p>\n<p>Crowd favorites were the bagpipes and fiddlers.<\/p>\n<p>This was Celtic Classic\u2019s thirteenth year of hosting the official U.S. National Highland Games Championship.&nbsp; The games featured events such as throwing the hammer, and tossing of the caber.&nbsp; The competitors, the top ten Highland athletes, perform feats of strength, speed, agility and skill<\/p>\n<p>There was plenty of delicious food along with lots of Irish beer and whiskey. And of course, there were kilts, kilts and more kilts!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.celticfest.org\/\">http:\/\/www.celticfest.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"su-custom-gallery
