October 13 – Elementary students receive a FREE Emoji Ice with lunch purchase in all Elementary Schools!<\/strong><\/p>\n

October 13 and 14, PHS Fall Play, “Pride and Prejudice,” 7:30 PM and October 15 at 3 PM. Tickets will be available at the door.<\/strong>October 17 and 18 – The Jostens company will be at PHS during all lunch periods for juniors to order class rings and seniors to order cap\/gown\/tassels as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senior offer: Cap\/Gown with Tassel $28.62 total (tax included)<\/p>\n

Junior offer: Free T-Hoodie with class ring order and $50 down payment<\/p>\n

October 19, <\/strong>Community Advisory Council Meeting, 7 PM, Administration Center.<\/strong> The topic of the meeting will be \u201cCurriculum & Instruction: Full-Day Kindergarten Results, 3-5 New Language Arts Program Wonders <\/em><\/strong>and 6-12 New ELA Curriculum\u201d which will be presented by Kelly Rosario, Jason Henry, and Diane Neikam from the Curriculum office. The public is invited to attend.<\/p>\n

October 20, EARLY DISMISSAL DAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

Elementary Schools dismiss at 1:45 PM, High School and Middle Schools dismiss at 1 PM<\/p>\n

October 26, OMS and SMS Fall Plays, 7 PM at each school.<\/strong>
\nOMS will do the Legend of Sleepy Hollow<\/em> and SMS will perform Camp Paradise <\/em><\/p>\n

October 28 – OMS play is at 2 PM, SMS play at 2 PM and 7 PM<\/p>\n

October 27 – The President\u2019s Own Marine Band<\/strong>,<\/em> Parkland High School, 7:30 PM.<\/strong> This is a free performance but tickets ARE required for admission. October 27, Pink Out at the PHS Football Game vs. Emmaus<\/strong><\/p>\n

A percentage of the proceeds will benefit a Parkland Family who has been battling Breast Cancer.<\/p>\n

October 29, Key Club 5k For the Kids in support of Four Diamonds<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parkland High School Key Club would like to invite you to participate in its first ever 5k For the Kids! This Halloween-themed Run\/Walk will be taking place on Sunday, October 29th at PHS. We’ll kick off the day with half-mile kids run at 8:30 AM followed by the 5k at 9 AM. We will be awarding prizes to our top finishers and for the best costumes! Advanced registration prices include a free t-shirt and are as follows: Adult- $20, student- $15, child- $10. You can also sign up as a 3-person relay team at the discounted price of $40. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Four Diamonds Fund which strives to conquer pediatric cancer by aiding families affected by the disease through research and financial aid.<\/p>\n
