font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Cambria;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Purple Xperience is a five-piece tribute band originally from the same town as Prince, Minneapolis, Minnesota.\u00a0 The band\u2019s credentials read like a who\u2019s who in today\u2019s popular music with Charloff, who recorded with Prince on the album, \u201c94 East\u201d.\u00a0 His musical journey began as a teenager, self-taught on guitar, piano, bass, and drums.\u00a0 Today, he is regarded as a successful musician, producer, and arranger.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The concert was not intended to be taken sitting down.\u00a0 The majority of the audience danced in the aisles as they clapped, cheered and sang along to Prince\u2019s best loved songs.\u00a0 Coinciding with each moment in musical time was a costume change, which brought the memories back to present day.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The energy ran high throughout the theatre, the band danced in unison with guitars swinging, as some of Prince\u2019s top hits were celebrated with \u201c I Wanna Be Your Lover\u2019, \u201cDelirious\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cNothing Compares 2U\u201d, \u201cLet\u2019s Go Crazy\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cRed Corvette\u201d, \u00a0\u201c1999\u201d and \u201cWhen Doves Cry\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 Charloff induced a sing a long to \u201cRaspberry Beret\u201d as he walked through the audience, he offered the microphone to several fans, and brought one man on stage to finish the song.
