The fun-filled Oktoberfest at SteelStacks continues with its second weekend of nonstop entertainment including new programming additions like The Hobby Horse Bonanza, The Oktoberfest Masskrugstemmen Championship and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Highlights include:<\/h3>\n

The Hobby Horse Bonanza \u2013 Oct. 13<\/span>, 8-9:30 p.m.<\/span><\/strong> The biggest craze in Finland comes stateside with the Hobby Horse Bonanza, where competitors run and jump on an equestrian course fit for a little stick horse.<\/p>\n

Freak Out! Oktoberfest \u2013 Oct. 13 &14<\/span>, 7:30 & 9 p.m.<\/span><\/strong> Delight in the daring feats of these talented performers. Acts feature pyrotechnics, acrobatics, juggling, belly dancing, sword stunts and more!<\/p>\n

German Shepherd & Dog Agility Demos <\/strong>\u2013 <\/strong>Oct. 14, 1 p.m.<\/span><\/strong> Join Cole\u2019s K-9 Center for action packed dog agility races.<\/p>\n

Oktoberfest Dachshund Races \u2013<\/strong> Oct. 14 & 15<\/span>, 4:30 p.m.<\/span> <\/strong>The annual running of the wiener dogs is back with double the fun! Watch as the dachshunds face off in this spectacle-to-end-all-spectacles.<\/p>\n

The Oktoberfest Masskrugstemmen Championship \u2013 Oct. 15, 2:30 p.m.<\/span><\/strong> Staring down two full steins of beer, held out at arm\u2019s length, competitors see if they have the what it takes to be the last one standing in the Masskrugstemmen Championship, presented by Molly\u2019s Irish Grille & Sports Pub. The US national record is currently 19 minutes, 15 seconds.<\/p>\n

The Brewers\u2019 Village <\/strong>(admission ticket required) The Oktoberfest Brewers\u2019 Village is back, with a who\u2019s who of Pennsylvania\u2019s craft breweries serving up everything from traditional German-style Marzens to autumn-inspired pumpkin ales. Tasting sessions are Friday, Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.<\/span> and Saturday, Oct. 14<\/span> at 1, 4 and 7 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n

Oktoberfest is a free-admission festival that takes place at SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way<\/a>, in Bethlehem. Hours are Fridays, 5-10 p.m.<\/span>; Saturdays, noon-10 p.m.<\/span>; and Sundays, noon-6 p.m.<\/span> For more information, visit www.steelstacks.org\/oktoberfest<\/a>.<\/p>\n
