AUTISM SOCIETY LEHIGH VALLEY, Allentown <\/b>needsa volunteer Fundraising Specialist to be Chairperson of the Fundraising Committee and lead effort to develop, implement, and fundraise based on board’s financial goals.\u00a0 Duties include educate\/train board members on fundraising, develop marketing plans, delegate tasks\/roles, find grant opportunities, etc.\u00a0 Call Miriam Ludwig, mlludwig@ptd.net<\/a>, 610-751-6532<\/a>.<\/div>\n

DELAWARE & LEHIGH HERITAGE HALF MARATHON RUN\/WALK, Northampton & Lehigh County<\/b> has need for volunteers to monitor start\/finish lines, staff water stations, direct participants at intersections, present awards, and cheer on participants throughout the course on Sunday, November 5th<\/span><\/sup> . LEHIGH COUNTY SPECIAL OLYMPICS, Allentown <\/b>needs volunteers to serve on their Track and Field Committee.\u00a0 This committee organizes the event in which 700 athletes participate.\u00a0 Some duties are logistics, food, scheduling, transportation, etc.\u00a0 Meetings are once a month (September through May) for an hour or two.\u00a0 For more info, call Patty Feninez, 484-274-8544<\/a>, specialolympicslehighcounty@ptd.net<\/a>.<\/div>\n

SOUTHSIDE ARTS DISTRICT, Bethlehem<\/b> needs volunteers Saturday, October 28<\/span><\/span> to lead Trick or Treaters (along with their parent\/guardian) to designated shops on 3rd & 4th streets Bethlehem for Trick or Treating! The Halloween Fun starts at 12pm – 4pm<\/span><\/span> at the Greenway between 3rd & 4th streets and Adams and New Streets right by the Transbridge Bus stop. Volunteer T-shirt & Map will be provided.
