(<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1974789799\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Oct. 25, 2017<\/span><\/span>) \u2014 Muhlenberg College dancers tell their stories through movement, as <b>the Muhlenberg Theatre &amp; Dance Department <\/b>presents \u201c<b>Moving Stories<\/b>,\u201d a showcase for dance works created by emerging choreographers, <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1974789800\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Nov. 9-11<\/span><\/span> in the College\u2019s Baker Theatre.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4015118633571053041m_-7863622739352931991gmail-MsoNormalCxSpFirst\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">Artistic Director Randall Anthony Smith says the program will generate \u201cdeep conversations about the complexities of being human.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4015118633571053041m_-7863622739352931991gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">\u201cThese choreographers are not only taking risks with their unique creative perspectives as artists, but also are challenging audiences to look beyond the moving body,\u201d\u00a0Smith says.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4015118633571053041m_-7863622739352931991gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The concert will showcase the work of eight student choreographers as well as guest choreographers Lisa Bottitta-Busfield and Caitlin Fell. Bottitta-Busfield is an alumna of Muhlenberg&#8217;s dance program and currently teaches in the program as a part-time lecturer. She has also taught and choreographed throughout the Lehigh Valley and elsewhere across the country. Fell is a 2016 graduate of Muhlenberg, currently working in the Admissions Office as the assistant director of admissions and financial aid while she continues to pursue her interest in dance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"m_4015118633571053041m_-7863622739352931991gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle\"><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">\u201cMoving Stories\u201d will feature more than 70 dancers from the department\u2019s dance program, which is among the most highly regarded programs of its kind.
