Or maybe a musician who became an actor, along the likes of Juliette Lewis or Johnny Depp?\u00a0\u00a0 With over 50 movie credits under his belt, and a serious interest in music since his pre-teen years, Quaid has proven he\u2019s got the chops to rock.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Dennis Quaid and The Sharks, dubbed \u2018Country Soul\u2019, \u00a0formed seventeen years ago, and initially kept their shows in California.\u00a0 It was Quaid\u2019s son, who named the band \u2018The Sharks\u2019, as Quaid once remarked he was grateful his son wasn\u2019t into dinosaurs at that time.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Quaid, as the front man, offered a strong stage presence, as he covered the stage corner to corner, and at one moment, left the stage and ran a full lap through the Caf\u00e9 without missing a note on his guitar.\u00a0 He danced, and his facial and body gestures were large. And while one may think he brought his acting creed to the stage, it became obvious that this was Quaid having fun.\u00a0 At 63 years old, it was an amazing feat to watch Quaid\u2019s non-stop energy.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The musical selection was a mix of Shark original tunes, and classic cover songs which seemed chronically placed in order from the 50\u2019s to the 80\u2019s, that included: \u201cNot Fade Away\u201d(Buddy Holly), \u201cGood Man, Bad Boy\u201d,\u00a0 \u201cWhole Lotta Shakin\u2019 Going On\u201d(Jerry Lee Lewis), \u201cRiders on the Storm\u201d, \u201cL.A.
