{"id":51562,"date":"2017-11-07T22:08:03","date_gmt":"2017-11-08T03:08:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=51562"},"modified":"2018-04-26T22:21:07","modified_gmt":"2018-04-27T02:21:07","slug":"allentown-celebrating-america-recycles-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/?p=51562","title":{"rendered":"ALLENTOWN CELEBRATING AMERICA RECYCLES DAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The public is invited to celebrate America Recycles Day with the City of Allentown on <span data-term=\"goog_1215851317\">Saturday, November 11<\/span> with family fun activities, arts and crafts, games, prizes and more!<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will take place at the City of Allentown Drop off Center located at 1400 Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr. from <span data-term=\"goog_1215851318\">12pm-3pm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe celebration is an opportunity to thank residents for their continued support in reducing trash and increasing recycling,\u201d said Manager of the Bureau of Recycling and Solid Waste, Ann Saurman.\u00a0 \u201cThis event will bring more awareness to the importance of recycling and continue building relationships with the community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Participants will enjoy silly faces with Single Stream Scottie the Recycling Mascot in his photo booth. Recycling games and holiday arts and crafts will be offered and V &amp; C Food Truck will be present.
