\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Nov. 8, Bethlehem, Pa. \u2013 Amy Zanelli\u2019s message has been loud and clear and voters decisively voiced their choice for her during this week\u2019s general election. Zanelli locked in 63% of the vote and won her place on the Lehigh County Board of Commissioners starting in January 2018.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n As District 3 Commissioner-elect she\u2019s enjoying the solid support received from voters in West Bethlehem, Catasauqua, Fountain Hill, East Allentown, South Allentown and Hanover Township in Tuesday\u2019s election.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Her opponent, Robert Smith, conceded the race before 11pm Tuesday after the solid margin of difference became apparent and put Zanelli in the lead early in evening. \u201c<\/span>I look forward to doing great things for Lehigh County,\u201d Zanelli said as she gathered her campaign team in west Bethlehem Tuesday night.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cNow the real work begins,\u201d Zanelli said. \u201cAnd I could not be more proud to serve such a loving, progressive, deserving community. What a difference a year can make! Let\u2019s make real differences this coming year together.\u201d<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Zanelli built a grassroots support network that included endorsements from organized labor, the women\u2019s movement and groups supporting a progressive agenda.
