Bethlehem, PA Nov. 16, 2017 – The Pediatric Cancer Foundation of the Lehigh Valley (PCFLV) is hosting a blood drive on <\/span>November 28th<\/span>, Giving <\/span>Tuesday<\/span>, at the Miller-Keystone Blood Center locations in Allentown and Bethlehem. PCFLV has set a goal of collecting 100 units of blood throughout the day.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “So many of our cancer kids get frequent, sometimes daily, blood and platelet transfusions,” said Michelle Zenie, Executive Director of PCFLV, “that partnering with Miller-Keystone Blood Center for a blood drive makes perfect sense. And what better thing to ask people to give on Giving <\/span>Tuesday<\/span> than blood? Ultimately, their donations will help to save the lives of local kids with cancer.”<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Donors can go to www.giveapint.org<\/a> and schedule their appointment to donate.
