In this New Year we find ourselves wondering about the possibilities about what we can accomplish. I would like to introduce you to Munchkin the dog, Hazy the dog and Budgie the cat. They are in need of a forever home and searching for a family to love them as they have plenty of love and happiness to offer. The animals in the shelters may be safe but it is not always the best environment and it could make some animals overwhelmed or upset. Be patient and get to know animals. Even if you visit a shelter and volunteer. Animals depend on humans to help them. Give Munchkin and Budgie a chance as well as all the animals who call the shelter home for now. Kelly Bauer also took time to do a follow-up interview after Bronx was adopted. The shelter also is in need of Dawn Dish Detergent. Kelly said, \u201cWe use Dawn because in addition to doing dishes, it kills fleas.\u201d Dawn is also said to be safe for the animals.<\/p>\n Kelly took time and she is busy but a good soul as, The Center for Animal Health and Welfare has a lot of good people. Take some time and check out the website or visit the shelter.<\/p>\n http:\/\/healthyanimalcenter.org\/our-dogs<\/a><\/p>\n Follow-up interview with Kelly Bauer, Executive Director,(The Center for Animal Health and Welfare)<\/strong><\/p>\n How did you feel when it was official that Bronx was actually adopted and going home to his new family?<\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong>– I am incredibly attached to the animals here at the shelter.\u00a0 I feel as if I am their surrogate mom until they find their forever home so I take each adoption personally.\u00a0 I knew right away that Bronx’s mom was who he should go home with.<\/p>\n What do you want people to know about the importance of adoption and what it means to the animals?<\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong>– Adoption is an incredible gift to give to a homeless animal.\u00a0 You are giving them a sense of security and love that unfortunately, some of them may have never known.<\/p>\n Could you please tell us how you feel and how the staff at The Center for Animal Health and Welfare feels when an animal gets adopted?<\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong>– My staff and I love these animals very much.\u00a0 I can’t begin to describe the overwhelming feeling of joy, and hope for a wonderful life for that animal.\u00a0 The best ones are the long term residents.<\/p>\n Do you have any two animal\u2019s right now that would say have been at the shelter and may need some extra help finding a home? (All the animals need support)<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Kelly<\/strong>– Munchkin the dog is a two year old basset hound\/terrier mix.
