Photo is courtesy of Olaf Starorypinski<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>BETHLEHEM, PA<\/strong>&#8211;ArtsQuest is pleased to announce that James Creedon has been elected chair of the ArtsQuest Board of Trustees. Creedon, a Lower Saucon Township resident, will serve a one-year term as chair of the 21-member board, which is responsible for the overall governance of the nonprofit community arts organization.<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the Bethlehem-based Creedon Management Associates, Creedon has more than three decades of management experience in the private and nonprofit sectors.\u00a0 From 2005-\u201910 he served as Secretary of the Department of General Services for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania under Gov. Ed Rendell, \u00a0where he was responsible for Commonwealth procurement, construction, real estate and property management. \u00a0While Secretary, Creedon also served as Chief Implementation Officer for the American Recovery Act in Pennsylvania. Before joining the Rendell administration, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development for United Water. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Temple University.<\/p>\n<p>Born in Bethlehem, Creedon graduated from Liberty High School and went on to earn his bachelor\u2019s degree and Master\u2019s of Business Administration Degree from Lehigh University. \u00a0An active member of the community, he has volunteered with several organizations, serving on both the Delaware &amp; Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Board and the United Way of Pennsylvania Board.<\/p>\n<p>Creedon has been a member of ArtsQuest\u2019s volunteer leadership for the past eight years, serving as a Board of Trustees member since 2012. He was also a member of the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Board from 2010-\u201916, serving as chair from 2010-\u201913, and chair of ArtsQuest\u2019s Governance Committee from 2016-\u201917.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the newly appointed ArtsQuest Board of Trustees officers are:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice-Chair: \u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Vicki Doule\u2019, Senior Director of Group Sales Major Marketing at Capital BlueCross<br \/>\n<strong>Secretary:<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Fred Stellato, Attorney at Norris McLaughlin &amp; Marcus, P.A.<br \/>\n<strong>Treasurer:<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mark Jobes, Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending at Lafayette Ambassador Bank<\/p>\n<p>New Board of Trustees members for 2018 are Alicia Hayden, Senior Manager of Quality and Customer Experience at Olympus America Inc., and David Willard, community leader and retired Director of Employee Communications &amp; Community Services at Olympus America.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ArtsQuest Foundation Re-elects Officers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ArtsQuest Foundation is pleased to announce that Jack Yaissle, President of Cornerstone Financial Consultants, has been re-elected chair of the ArtsQuest Foundation.\u00a0 Yaissle will serve a fifth one-year term as chair of the ArtsQuest Foundation, which is responsible for the strategic plan and goals for the ArtsQuest endowment fund and assisting in the long-term sustainability of the nonprofit community arts organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also re-elected to the ArtsQuest Foundation are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice Chair:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Michael Perrucci, Managing Partner for Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt &amp; Fader<br \/>\n<strong>Secretary:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Michael Albarell, President of Albarell Electric Inc.<br \/>\n<strong>Treasurer:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Thomas Riddle, President of Valley National Group<\/p>\n<p>Herm Rij, President of Quadrant Private Wealth, and Andrea Neagle, Executive Director of Design IP, PC, have also been named to the Foundation board.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>ArtsQuest Visual Arts &amp; Friends of Levitt Pavilion Board Officers Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ArtsQuest is pleased to announce that Alicia Hayden, Senior Manager of Quality and Customer Experience at Olympus America Inc., has been elected chair of the ArtsQuest Visual Arts Board, while Timothy Canfield, Vice President and Retail Market Manager at TD Bank, has been re-elected chair of the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion SteelStacks Board.<\/p>\n<p>Hayden has been a member of the Visual Arts Board since 2015, while Canfield has been part of the Levitt Pavilion board for the past four years.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Also re-elected as Friends of the Levitt Pavilion Board officers are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vice Chair:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mario Galante, Retired Principal, Quakertown \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Community High School<\/p>\n<p><strong>Secretary:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jeffrey Hunsicker, Independent Forensic Consultant<\/p>\n<p><strong>Treasurer: \u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Victor Schmidt, Director of Human Resources for Precision Roll Grinding<\/p>\n<p>Todd Chambers, Associate Partner at MKSD Architects, has been named Vice Chair of the Visual Arts Board.
