The City of Allentown is partnering with community leaders in Allentown to bring together a calendar of events marking Black History Month throughout the city.<\/p>\n

The website is hosted at www.allentownpa.gov\/blackhistorymonth<\/a>, and shows a total of eight events being held in Allentown throughout the month of February that are related to observing Black History Month.<\/p>\n

Black History Month was established in 1976 to mark an annual celebration of African American achievements throughout history.<\/p>\n
