TOM MULLER ENDORSES SUSAN WILD FOR CONGRESS<\/p>\n

Former County Executive cites her passion, experience, and leadership,\u00a0calling Wild the strongest candidate to flip PA-15 from red to blue.<\/p>\n

Allentown, Pa.\u00a0 \u2014 Susan Wild for Congress continues to build momentum as today it announced the endorsement of former Lehigh County Executive Tom Muller. Muller, who served as County Executive from 2014-2017, released the following statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cDemocrats can only take back Congress in 2018 if we put our best foot forward this November. Here in the 15th District, that means supporting a strong candidate who will truly fight for everyone, someone who is passionate but not volatile, and someone who won\u2019t flinch under pressure.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat candidate is Susan Wild, and it\u2019s why I\u2019m proud to give her my full and unwavering endorsement in her race to be the next U.S. Representative in Pennsylvania\u2019s 15th Congressional District.<\/p>\n

\u201cSusan has the skills to cast politics aside and instead weigh the issues carefully before making the smart decision and the right decision. I\u2019ve seen Susan step into difficult situations and she\u2019s always been a leader \u2014 and often the \u2018adult in the room\u2019 \u2014 when it comes to convening diverse groups and finding solutions to difficult problems. That\u2019s how she quickly gained the city council\u2019s respect as City Solicitor, it\u2019s how she\u2019s so well regarded throughout the legal community, and it\u2019s how I know she\u2019ll be a strong voice in Congress when it comes to fighting for Pennsylvania\u2019s working families.\u201d<\/p>\n

Muller\u2019s endorsement follows a week that saw Wild\u2019s campaign announce successful fundraising<\/a> totals for the fourth quarter in 2017 and host a widely attended campaign launch event<\/a>. Wild, the first female Solicitor of the City of Allentown and an attorney for more than 35 years, is leading a campaign that promises to focus on supporting the working class on pillar issues such as health care equality, defending and expanding Social Security and Medicare, and securing quality jobs and a living wage for residents of the 15th District.<\/p>\n
