The Parade will be held <span data-term=\"goog_1460128130\">March 18, 2018<\/span>, departing from the Allentown Fairgrounds at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128131\">1:30 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Food Drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Parade is hosting a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley.\u00a0 Presenting sponsor GIANT Food Stores has supplied brown grocery bags to be distributed door-to-door in the West End neighborhood the week before the Parade and they will also be distributed at some of the Parade sponsored events.\u00a0 The Food Drive kicked off at the annual Parade Fundraiser event held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Christopher\u2019s at the Columbian Home.\u00a0 Donations will also be taken at the Coronation Celebration, the Irish Cultural Community Day being held <span data-term=\"goog_1460128132\">March 16 and 17<\/span> respectively at Allentown Fairgrounds.\u00a0 The Parade is asking all spectators of the parade to bring a nonperishable food item to donate.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parade Pub Crawl \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_1460128133\">March 10, 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Parade Pub Crawl, celebrating 10 years in 2018, will take place on <span data-term=\"goog_1460128134\">Saturday, March 10, 2018<\/span> throughout the West End of Allentown.\u00a0 Proceeds from the Pub Crawl benefit the Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade to pay for marching units and bands.\u00a0 There are eight sponsoring pubs; Jack Callaghan\u2019s Ale House, Tavern on Liberty Street, The Roost of Allentown, Volpe\u2019s Sports Bar, Shanty on 19<sup>th<\/sup>, Fairgrounds Hotel, Sleepy Cat Urban Winery, and Greg\u2019s West End Saloon.<\/p>\n<p>A donation of $15 to benefit the Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade will include a 61<sup>st<\/sup> Parade commemorative t-shirt.\u00a0 The pub crawl begins promptly at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128135\">5:00 pm.<\/span>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>St. Patrick\u2019s Mass \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_1460128136\">March 18, 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Mass to celebrate St. Patrick will be held <span data-term=\"goog_1460128137\">Sunday, March 18, 2018 at 9:15<\/span> at Immaculate Conception Church celebrated by the Most Reverend Alfred A. Chaya, President of the Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade Committee, Inc. and the Honorable Edwin Pawlowski, Mayor of the City of Allentown will mark the occasion.\u00a0 City Hall is located at <a Dinner and Celebration to be held <span data-term=\"goog_1460128144\">March 16<\/span> at the Agricultural Hall Annex at the Allentown Fairgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>The Coronation Celebration begins with doors opening at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128145\">7:00 pm<\/span> and the Coronation takes place at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128146\">9 pm.<\/span>\u00a0 Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the 2018<\/span> along the Parade Route.\u00a0 Registration is open through <span data-term=\"goog_1460128151\">March 12, 2018<\/span> or until the limit of 1,000 runners has been reached.\u00a0 $30 per St. Patrick\u2019s Parade Committee is once again hosting a house decorating\/porch party contest to be judge by an independent person chosen by the Parade committee.\u00a0 Prizes, donated by the West End Pubs, will be awarded to the \u201cbest porch party\u201d and \u201cbest decorated house\u201d along the Parade route.\u00a0 The Parade route will form at the Fairgrounds track near the Liberty and 17<sup>th<\/sup> Streets gate ( Main Gate vicinity) The Parade will proceed West on Liberty, turn North on 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street, west on Tilghman to 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street, South on 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street to Liberty Street then East on Liberty Street and disband at the Fairgrounds 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street gate.\u00a0 All homes along the Parade route are encouraged to participate.\u00a0 Prizes will be awarded immediately upon conclusion of the Parade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Massed Bands Exhibition \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_1460128154\">March 18, 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A Massed Bands Exhibition will take place immediately before the Parade at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128155\">1:00 PM<\/span> on North 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street between Tilghman and Liberty Streets.\u00a0 All pipe bands will perform in unison under the direction of Drum Major Jason Litz.\u00a0 After the Parade the pipe bands will proceed to a Pub Crawl Sponsoring pub to perform additional tunes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>61st Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade \u2013 <span data-term=\"goog_1460128156\">March 18, 2018<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 2018 Allentown St. Patrick\u2019s Parade, now in its 61st year, will start its March at <span data-term=\"goog_1460128157\">1:30 pm<\/span> on <span data-term=\"goog_1460128158\">Sunday, March 18, 2018<\/span>.\u00a0 The Parade route will form at the Fairgrounds track near the Liberty and 19<sup>th<\/sup> Streets gate (Main Gate vicinity).\u00a0 The Parade will proceed West on Liberty, turn North on 19<sup>th<\/sup> Street, West on Tilghman Street to 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street, South on 25<sup>th<\/sup> Street to Liberty Street, then East on Liberty Street and disband at the Fairgrounds
