He performs frequently throughout the region and has also been coordinator of jazz studies for the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Performing Arts. He received the Lehigh Valley Music Awards\u2019 20-year veteran award in 2016.<br \/>\nRitz, whose career spanned five decades, passed away Aug. 7, 2017 shortly after playing a show at Musikfest. Originally from Phillipsburg, N.J., he performed for more than 50 years in solo, duo, trio, band and orchestra shows in the region. He was also involved with musicals at local high schools, including 10 years at Saucon Valley and as audio stage manager for the live production of the Easton State Theatre\u2019s Freddy Awards.<\/p>\n<p>DiBussolo and Ritz will both receive Lifetime Achievement Awards.<\/p>\n<p>Winner of Lehigh Valley Music Awards Board of Directors citations will be John Millington, hip-hop artist Adlib and blues-rock guitarist Todd Wolfe, who played with Sheryl Crow from 1993-98.
