Advance registration is preferred and available on-line at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allentownparks.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.allentownparks.org<\/a>. On-site registration begins at 5:30 pm; the parade begins at 6:15 pm. Prizes will be awarded for Best Pet and Pal Combo, Best in Show, and Most Patriotic Pet! Prizes donated by Chaar Pet Supply.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Potential participants must adhere to the following rules and regulations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Pets must be leashed (if retractable, must be able to lock on short setting) or otherwise be properly restrained<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Pets must be up to date on vaccinations, people friendly and non-aggressive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Do not bring animals that are in heat or under four months old<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Water bowls will be provided for pets<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Owners\/handlers are responsible for their pet\u2019s behavior as well as for cleaning up after them<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Other animals, like cats and rabbits, may participate but must be restrained or ride in a \u201cfloat\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(wagon, carrier, or other non-mechanical vehicle)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please be conscious of weather conditions for pet safety.
