\u201cEMS STEWARDS OF THE COMMUNITY\u201d AWARDS<\/strong><\/p>\n Steward Now Accepting Nominations for Exceptional EMS Providers in the Greater Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n EASTON, PA<\/strong> \u2013 In celebration of National Emergency Medical Service (EMS) week, Steward Health Care System will host its First National \u201cEMS Stewards of the Community\u201d Awards Ceremony on May 25<\/span> at Easton Hospital.<\/p>\n Steward, which operates Easton Hospital, will recognize selected Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers for going \u201cabove and beyond\u201d in their interactions with patients at each of Steward\u2019s community hospitals. To nominate an EMS provider in your community for an \u201cEMS Stewards of the Community\u201d award<\/strong><\/a>, <\/strong>visit http:\/\/info.steward.org\/EMSaward2018-Easton.html<\/a>. Nominations must be received by Friday, April 27, 2018<\/span>.<\/p>\n \u201cEMS providers are on the front lines of health care delivery, often helping patients when every second counts,\u201d said Brenden Hayden, Director of EMS at Steward Health Care. \u201cWe encourage all members of the Steward family to nominate outstanding EMS providers in their community to thank them for their lifesaving work.\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cEMS Stewards of the Community\u201d awards show appreciation for emergency medical responders and dispatchers, emergency medical technicians,\u00a0 advanced emergency medical technicians, and paramedics who not only carry out the noble work of caring for others, but do so with a high degree of expertise, professionalism, and compassion.
