The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation presents the fourth installment of the 2015 Movies in the Park series with \u201cBack to the Future,\u201d<\/em> on Saturday, July 25 at West Park.\u00a0 The show begins at dusk.<\/p>\n

\u201cBack to the Future\u201d<\/em> stars Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson.<\/p>\n

McFly, a typical American teenager of the 1980s, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean “time machine” invented by a slightly mad scientist.\u00a0 During his often funny and amazing trip back 30 years, Marty must make certain his then teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love – so he can get back to the future.<\/p>\n

This movie is rated PG and runs for 116 minutes.<\/p>\n

There will be a DeLorean on display near the West Park bandshell which will be provided by Eberhart Motors.<\/p>\n

The Allentown Municipal Band will perform a concert at 6:30pm as part of the event.<\/p>\n

The West Park Civic Association is partnering with the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation to bring to you a \u201cPicnic and a Movie.\u201d For more information and for table reservations please visit http:\/\/www.westpark-ca.org\/<\/a>. Canned food donations will also be accepted as a part of the event, benefitting the Second Harvest Food Bank.<\/p>\n
