Allentown Community Consultant, Guillermo Lopez, Joins the Panel of Allentown Government Officials and Community Stakeholders<\/span><\/i><\/i><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bethlehem, PA – <\/span><\/span><\/strong>April 20, 2018<\/span><\/b> – PBS39 is set <\/span>to host “A Community Conversation on the Future of Allentown”. The <\/span>special live presentation will feature several Allentown government officials <\/span>and community stakeholders as they discuss the uncertain future of the city. One of PBS39’s newest team members Monica Evans, executive producer and on-air personality from PBS39, will host the event and act as moderator. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

PBS39 announces the <\/span>addtion of Guillermo Lopez, an Allentown community consultant, who will be <\/span>joining the panel alongside Ray O’Connell, Allentown’s Interim Mayor; Charlie <\/span>Thiel, Allentown School Board President; Roger MacLean, Allentown City Council <\/span>President; Rep. Peter Schweyer (D – 22nd District), <\/span>Rev. Dr. Larry D. Pickens,\u00a0Ecumenical<\/span>
\nDirector of the Lehigh Valley Conference of Churches; Dan Bosket, Director of <\/span>the Community Action Development Corporation of Allentown; and one other <\/span>panelist yet to be confirmed. <\/span><\/p>\n

The format for this community conversation is an <\/span>unscripted discussion between panel members and the live studio <\/span>audience.\u00a0The audience members are encouraged to participate and ask <\/span>questions. <\/span><\/p>\n

This open forum will take place in the studios at <\/span>PBS39 in Bethlehem, and will be broadcast on PBS39 and streamed live on the <\/span>PBS39 website and Facebook page on Tuesday, April 24th at 6:00pm.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
