Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 the day of the event. Advance tickets will be available\u00a0 for purchase on the West Park website, and at select Lehigh valley businesses beginning May 3. Tickets may be purchased and redeemed for your tour booklet at the Episcopal church of the Mediator, 1620 W. Turner Street the day of the event from 10:30am to 3:00pm. Visit <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.westpark-ca.org\/\">www.westpark-ca.org <\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">for information and advance ticket sales.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Pre-sale tickets will be available May 3 at Albright\u2019s Hardware, C. Leslie Smith, BOUTIQUETOGO, Hummus House, Phoebe Floral, RE:find, Walter\u2019s Pharmacy, and Weil Antiques.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The tour will feature beautiful early 20th century homes featuring original details such as stained glass windows, parquet floors and woodwork.\u00a0 The homes are filled with stunning contemporary and antique furnishings.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Visitors will enjoy a variety of interior and garden styles reflecting the individual tastes of their owners. This year\u2019s tour will also highlight some adjacent areas of interest. Featured downtown will be Vault 634, the re-purposed Lehigh Valley Trust Company building. Allentown\u2018s newest premier event space showcases six Crystal chandeliers from the former Hess\u2019s department store and a 60 foot stained glass skylight along with other lavish details. Stunning public spaces, and the home of designers Jon Clark and Ron Susser will be featured at Strata Symphony. Tour Tower Six, Allen-\u00a0 town\u2019s newest all glass office building, with a birds eye view of the Lehigh Valley. Other points of interest include the General Trexler Estate (now the Elias Funeral Home), the Allentown Preservation Association, and the Episcopal Church of the Mediator. The Masonic Temple is offering the rare opportunity to view the main lodge rooms, each with a specific theme from Egyptian to gothic. Two trolleys will be available to shuttle guests throughout the district and downtown.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">The West Park Historic District<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">West Park was created from the collective vision of a few for the solace and enjoyment of many. The arboretum, complete with a fountain and a band shell, is home to many rare species of trees. West Park provides the city\u00a0 residents with a natural setting that offers rest and relaxation from the hustle and bustle of everyday living while adding to the rich cultural heritage of Allentown. In 2001 a portion of the neighborhood between 14<sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\">th<\/span><\/sup> &amp; 17<sup><span style=\"font-size: small;\">th<\/span><\/sup> Streets and Chew &amp; Court Streets was designated The West Park Historic District. This designation has the objective of preserving the exterior architectural beauty of the District\u2019s homes. The residents of West Park are steps away from the renaissance occurring in downtown Allentown. The City of Allentown and the West Park Civic Association provide residents of Allentown and nearby communities with many opportunities for a rich menu of cultural activities set in the natural beauty of the changing seasons of the park.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri; font-size: medium;\">The West Park Civic Association<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The West Park Civic Association, a 501C3 Organization, was founded in 1976 to preserve, protect, enhance and promote West Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
