A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 12:30pm.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 DJ Jose\u00a0Manuel Cintron will entertain from 12:00 to 2:00pm.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 DJ Jose has been the musical entertainment for Teen Pool Parties in Allentown the past two summers.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The pool will be open to city residents only from 12 noon to 7pm<\/span><\/span> on Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 Identification, like a driver\u2019s license, city I-D or school I-D, is required for admission.\u00a0 Those without proof of residency will be turned away.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Cedar Beach Pool will be open to the general public on Monday, May 28<\/span><\/span>.\u00a0 <\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The pool will then be open weekends only until June 16<\/span><\/span> when seven day a week operation begins through Labor Day.\u00a0 Weekend occupancy is restricted to city residents only.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Resident daily admission is $6.00 for adults ages 18-59 and $4.00 for youths ages 4-17.\u00a0 Children 3 and under are free as are seniors 60 and older with a resident senior citizen pool permit.\u00a0 Non-resident daily admission is $8.00 for youths and $12.00 for adults.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The new pool is ADA accessible and has new zero depth and stair entries.\u00a0 There are new drop and tube slides and climbing walls.\u00a0 There is a new intermediate area, a lap\/general swimming area and a new tot area.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n Patrons are not permitted to bring food into the pool area.\u00a0 Cedar Beach Pool has a fully operational concession stand available for food and drink purchases.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The City\u2019s Bucky Boyle and Old Allentown Fairgrounds spray parks also will open for the season this Saturday, May 26.\u00a0 Spray parks are open daily from 12:00pm until 7:00pm<\/span><\/span> weather permitting.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Information Provided By: <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n
