ALLENTOWN, PA — Following the 2017 merger between Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center and Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center today announced the headliners who will perform at the 25th Annual Pride in the Park Festival on August 19th, 2018<\/span><\/span> at Allentown’s Cedar Beach Park. Pride in the Park is a smoke-free event.<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Drag headliners include Vanessa ‘Vanjie’ Mateo<\/b> of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 and her drag family, Alexis Mateo<\/b> (RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3 \/ All Stars Season 1) and Jelitza Fearce<\/b> (Current Miss Renaissance Plus).<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

Musical performers include The Philadelphia Freedom Marching Band<\/b>, folk singer Bobby Jo Valentine<\/b>, electro-pop band Sateen<\/b>, and Spanish-langnguage band Interminable<\/b>.\u00a0 Local entertainers will be announced shortly.<\/div>\n

In addition, the festival will also include Gay Bingo<\/b>\u00a0benefiting FACT (Fighting AIDS Continuously Together), and youth activities all day at Kids Space<\/b>\u00a0and Project SILK Teen Space<\/b>\u00a0as well as more than a hundred vendors, including the new artist promenade<\/b>\u00a0and PPL Non-Profit Resource Area<\/b>.<\/div>\n

“We have a fabulous, diverse lineup of entertainment that I hope everyone will enjoy” said Adrian Shanker, Executive Director, Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, “We are especially excited to welcome TV stars, Miss Vanjie and Alexis Mateo, to Allentown for the 25th year of this festival, and we’re proud to have included an array of music genre’s so that the lineup of entertainment has something to appeal to everyone!”<\/div>\n
