BETHLEHEM, PA–Police officers, firefighters and EMTs perform heroic actions across our nation every day, and this September Embassy Bank is honoring our local \u201cheroes\u201d by recognizing them in the \u201cOur Hometown Heroes-First Responders\u201d display at SteelStacks.<\/p>\n

From now through July 27<\/span>, Embassy Bank invites the community to submit photos of family members, neighbors and friends who have served or are currently serving their communities as first responders for the display, which will be unveiled during the Patriot Day Celebration at SteelStacks Sept. 11<\/span>. Photos of first responders including police and law enforcement officials, firefighters and volunteer firefighters, emergency medical personnel and paramedics are welcome.\u00a0 Since its inception in 2013, more than 135 photos of first responders have been submitted for Our Hometown Heroes-First Responders, and all images from previous years will be included as part of the display.<\/p>\n

Photo submissions for \u2018Our Hometown Heroes-First Responders\u2019 can be uploaded to www.steelstacks.org\/patriot-day<\/a> or dropped off at Banana Factory, 25 W. Third St., Bethlehem<\/a>, or any Embassy Bank branch in the Lehigh Valley. Color and B&W images are accepted; all photos will be returned and can be picked up at the Banana Factory during normal business hours from Aug. 20-25<\/span>.<\/p>\n
