Pick Your Own Online Local Food is an online store that is part of the Downtown Allentown Local Food Market’s Fresh Fridays LFM.\u00a0 \u00a0It is available to anyone who is able to pick up at one of our drop off locations\u00a0each Friday<\/span><\/span> year round.\u00a0 Door to door delivery to the Strata residents in Downtown Allentown is another service offered.\u00a0 The signature product is a seasonal produce collection which is made up of the most appealing, high quality local fruits and vegetables from a variety of Lehigh Valley farmers available in three sizes.<\/p>\n Current drop off locations include:<\/p>\n Greenmouth Juice Cafe in Allentown,<\/strong><\/p>\n Godshall Farm in Coopersburg\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Healthy You Cafe at the Promenade Shops of Saucon Valley.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Starting the week of August 21<\/span><\/span>, we will add more drop off locations including:<\/p>\n Bethlehem BrewWorks<\/strong><\/p>\n South Mountain Cycle in Emmaus\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Muhlenburg College in Allentown<\/strong><\/p>\n Body Elite in Allentown\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n These new additions are current drop off locations for the Wild Fox Farm CSA.\u00a0 They will not be continuing their CSA, but will work with Pick Your Own to offer their products through the online store along with other producers and small businesses. (Please note these locations will not be available on the store until the week of August 21<\/span><\/span>)<\/p>\n This past Winter, Wild Fox Farm and Godshall Farm held a series of local food forums to determine how local farmers could best serve Lehigh Valley residents.\u00a0\u00a0The online store was created for customers and farmers to improve local food transactions and\u00a0has gone through several renditions and updates guided by the feedback from customers and information received at the forums.<\/p>\n Steve and Nicole Shelly, owners of the Downtown Allentown Local Food Market and Godshall Farm use their extensive experience and reputation for high quality local food to curate the offerings on the store and to deliver an excellent product.\u00a0Wild Fox Farm, Dreamland Farmstead, Switchback Pizza, Bee Well Blooms, Newhard Farms, Hamilton Orchard, The Berry Farm, Greenmouth and Godshall Farm<\/strong>\u00a0are some of the producers available currently.\u00a0 The producers and their products change with the seasons, but all are from reputable and transparent sources.<\/p>\n The products offered are known for their health qualities and\/or are the items that are most in demand in the Lehigh Valley based on the owners’ knowledge of local food preferences and surveys with customers.\u00a0 Shopping directly from Facebook and Instagram is also an option @freshfridayslfm on social media.
