\u201cThe BC Combo\u201d will be performing as part of the Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation\u2019s 2018 Saturday<\/span><\/span> in the Park concert series at historic West Park on Saturday, August 11 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.\u00a0 West Park is located between 15th<\/span><\/sup> and 16th <\/span><\/sup> Street between Linden and Turner streets.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n \u201cThe BC Combo\u201d is a highly respected group of singer-songwriters who, according to their website, \u201cbring their wealth of experience and passion to Blues, Jazz, Swing, Folk, R&B, Soul and more.\u00a0The list of who’s who continues from their stage performances with Ray Charles, Koko Taylor, Shemekia Copeland, Son Seals, Lonnie Brooks, Rhonnie Baker Brooks, Saffire, the Holmes Brothers, Carl Weathersby, Eddie King and so many more.\u201d Their signature style is recognized by audiences across the region and abroad.<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n The group is comprised of vocalist Bev Conklin, guitarist and vocalist Wayne Smith, drummer Kevin Groller, guitarist Joe Mac and Michael Pozzebon on vocals, keyboards, bass and guitar.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n Conklin has captured Lehigh Valley Music Awards as Best Female Vocalist, Best Blues Vocalist and Best All-around Performer and Smith has been recognized as Best Guitarist and Best Keyboardist.\u00a0 <\/u><\/u><\/span><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThe BC Combo\u201d performs across the Lehigh Valley.\u00a0 They will be at Musikfest tonight<\/span><\/span>.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n The City of Allentown\u2019s Saturday<\/span><\/span> in the Park Series features a wide variety of concerts in our parks during the summer of 2018.
