by Diane Fleischman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.df-foto.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Story &amp; Photographs by Diane Fleischman<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I would imagine after the second downpour of rain <span data-term=\"goog_339912645\">Tuesday<\/span> evening at Muskifest, the Music Gods, emerged and exclaimed, \u201cEnough rain, let there be music!\u201d\u00a0 Then the skies parted, and rain was no more.\u00a0 Luckily, the rain did stop, just in time for<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCacgZMovR2v8pJO7WfM_mhw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marc Broussard<\/a><\/strong> to take the stage at the Levitt Pavilion.<\/p>\n<div id=\"su_carousel_69f4319533415\" class=\"su-carousel su-carousel-centered su-carousel-pages-yes su-carousel-responsive-yes su-lightbox-gallery\" style=\"width:100%\" data-autoplay=\"3000\" data-speed=\"600\" data-mousewheel=\"true\" data-items=\"2\" data-scroll=\"1\"><div class=\"su-carousel-slides\"><div class=\"su-carousel-slide\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4368r.jpg\" title=\"\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-0\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4368r-182x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4368r\" \/><\/a><\/div><div class=\"su-carousel-slide\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4373r.jpg\" title=\"\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-1\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4373r-182x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4373r\" \/><\/a><\/div><div class=\"su-carousel-slide\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4313r.jpg\" title=\"\" data-rel=\"lightbox-image-2\" data-rl_title=\"\" data-rl_caption=\"\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevalleyledger.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/DSC_4313r-182x200.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_4313r\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><div class=\"su-carousel-nav\"><div class=\"su-carousel-direction\"><span class=\"su-carousel-prev\"><\/span><span class=\"su-carousel-next\"><\/span><\/div><div class=\"su-carousel-pagination\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Die hard fans of all ages rushed the stage, as he performed to a full audience, who didn\u2019t seem to mind the soggy residue of the earlier thunderstorms.<\/p>\n<p>Marc Broussard hails from the deep south of Louisiana, and what makes his style interesting is that he draws from all musical influences in his environment.\u00a0 His style has been dubbed as \u201cCajun Blues\u201d, and adds a bit of funk, and plenty of emotion to the ballads.\u00a0 As Broussard tours this summer, he is promoting a new release, \u201cEasy To Love\u201d.\u00a0 Broussard included a few of the new songs, such as the title track, and \u201cLeave a Light On\u201d, and \u201cBaton Rouge\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>As his fan base continues to grow, one thing\u2019s for certain, Broussard puts on one heck of a show, full of raw emotion and spirit, strong enough to chase the rain away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Story &amp;
