\u201cAt Cedarbrook our care is built around three things: food, faith and fun.\u00a0 This gift shop is about fun, it will give our residents an opportunity to volunteer, stay active and interact with one another,\u201d said Joseph Shadid, RN, MSN, MBA, NHA, Administrator\/ Director of Cedarbrook.<\/p>\n Money raised from the store will go back into programs for Cedarbrook residents.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not just fun though, among the backscratchers and mini-teddy bears, there\u2019s plenty of food as well.\u00a0 Sweet treats and savory chips line the shelves along with some sugar free options.<\/p>\n Shadid would like to expand it to include coffee and tea, turning it into a mini-caf\u00e9 for residents and visitors to enjoy.<\/p>\n The shop is just one part of the facilities ongoing renovations which will continue to improve quality of care and enhance the living experience at Cedarbrook.<\/p>\n The auditorium which often serves as the entertainment space, hosting musical performers and bingo nights for residents will soon be undergoing construction.<\/p>\n \u201cI couldn\u2019t be prouder of the leadership here at Cedarbrook.
