Allentown, PA <\/strong>\u2013 An impressive panel of women join featured panelist U.S. Congressional candidate Susan Wild for a thought-provoking discussion Sunday, September 23rd<\/span><\/span> in Allentown about the issues that remain a priority as we close in on the November 6th<\/sup> election. An astounding number of women candidates are running for office in Pennsylvania and around the country and the issues that will propel them into office are the topics for discussion at Amy Zanelli’s second annual Progress in Politics <\/strong>forum.<\/p>\n Panelists include:<\/p>\n Last year, over 100 students, seniors, laborers, public officials, judges, working parents and minorities, all powerful advocates for equality, minority representation and women in politics, attended Progress in Politics<\/strong> to share stories about grassroots politics and to support local and statewide candidates.<\/p>\n Susan Wild, the Democratic candidate in the Lehigh Valley\u2019s 7th<\/sup> Congressional District, is one of 81 candidates nationwide who former President Barack Obama has chosen to support. Obama announced August 1st<\/sup> that Wild would be one of five Democratic candidates in Pennsylvania that he would be supporting.<\/p>\n All proceeds from Progress in Politics<\/strong> will benefit the Susan Wild for Congress<\/a> campaign.
