Fortunately for all those feverish Queen fans, Queen Extravaganza performed Wednesday night at The Sands Event Center and gave the audience a dose of rock and roll medicine.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Queen Extravaganza, or QuEx, for short, are also known as the official Queen Tribute band, as the band members were hand picked by the original Queen members, Brian May and Roger Taylor.\u00a0 Lead singer, Marc Martel had schedule conflicts and couldn\u2019t join this tour, but Brazilian singer, Arilio Netto, has filled the shoes nicely.\u00a0 Netto admitted he\u2019s a lifelong Queen fan, and no stranger to the music scene.\u00a0 One of his biggest thrills was his role in \u2018We Will Rock You Brazil\u2019 as the lead male character, Galileo.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The concert kicked off with \u201cOne Vision\u201d, Netto brought high energy as he covered the stage. \u201cDon\u2019t Stop Me Now\u201d followed, then a medley of \u201cKiller Queen\u201d and then reached way back for \u201cGood Old Fashioned Lover Boy\u201d.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">It\u2019s hard for any Queen fan not to compare the performance of QuEx to the original Queen, but in \u201cSave Me\u201d there were moments the similarities were hauntingly close.\u00a0 Netto started the song seated at the edge of the stage and it\u2019s here, that you can hear his musical theatre influences. Drummer, Tyler Warren, carried the lead vocals on \u201cA Kind of Magic\u201d, and picked up the second verse in \u201cI Want It All\u201d.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The band took a short break and returned with \u201cHammer To Fall\u201d.\u00a0 Lead guitarist, Brian Gresh, was flawless as he mirrored Queen guitarist, Brian May.\u00a0 Other songs that followed were \u201cSeven Seas of Rhye\u201d, \u201cUnder Pressure\u201d, \u201cI Want To Break Free\u201d, and another little medley of \u201cInvisible Man\u201d which highlighted white spotlights that glared down on drummer, Warren, for a solo.\u00a0 Then came \u201cBreakthru\u201d, \u201cAnother One Bites the Dust\u201d, as Netto and Warren shared lead vocals. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">Warren dedicated \u201cThese Are The Days Of Our Lives\u201d to Roger Taylor and Freddie Mercury, and other favorites followed:\u00a0 \u201cSomebody To Love\u201d with a sing a long in the chorus, and the ultimate unification song, \u201cRadio GaGa\u201d.\u00a0 The audience cheered for \u201cBohemian Rhapsody\u201d, and rose to their feet for \u201cWe Will Rock You\u201d, and the close of the show, \u201cWe Are The Champions.\u201d<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Cambria;\">The band Queen was together for approximately twenty years, their lead singer, Freddie Mercury passed away over twenty five years ago, and the band and their music is just as popular today.\u00a0 It has been reported that a Queen song can be heard on the radio within every 24 hours.\u00a0 It\u2019s an amazing legacy in rock and roll history.<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;
